THE GUINOT STORY
Founded by chemical engineer René Guinot in 1963, our treatments and skin care products have revolutionised the world of beauty. In 1972, we pioneered the industry with the Hydradermie Machine, the first exclusive facial treatment method. Using a gentle ionisation process, it makes the skin more receptive to active ingredients subsequently applied thus delivering unparalleled, instant and visible results.
Guinot was the first brand to create skin care products containing our Cellular Life Complex, which contains 56 active ingredients. This ingredient complex was also used in hospitals to create new skin, including the treatment of serious burn victims. Guinot was then taken over by Jean-Daniel Mondin, a doctor in pharmaceuticals. His education prompted him to establish a technologically advanced laboratory and implement the ‘Beauty Doctor Model’ which offers clients a bespoke consultation and prescription based on their skin care concerns and goals.
